Mary and I trust that you reflected on the meaning of Christmas and rejoiced that the Lord came to save us from our sins and promised that He would return to take us home. Perhaps as this new year begins it will be the year that our Lord returns to take us home, “Even so come Lord Jesus!”
As I look back on the past year I thank God for the many pastors we have encouraged and the many saints that we have equipped to carry out the Great Commission. We also thank God for protecting us as we have driven many miles. Your prayers and gifts have enabled us to train many saints and equipped some to be lay pastors in evangelism.
As we look forward to this new year, I covet your prayers as I am writing a new chapter in our manual on how to witness through the topic of creation. Secular institutions are teaching our children and you adults that there is no God. Therefore, we must learn how to witness to them.
I covet your prayers on how to balance my ministry with caring for my wife’s needs. Many saints are praying for her and helping me, along with what our family has been doing.
I thank God for the many doors He is opening to us and the energy He is giving me as I preach every Sunday evening (when I am home) at the Bible Tabernacle in Canyon Country.
As we begin a new year, I want to thank you for your faithful support that is allowing us to continue this ministry. May God richly bless you and yours in this new year. May you experience the joy of knowing Him as you serve Him, worship Him, and anticipate His return to take us home.
Grace and Peace,
Pete and Mary Mothershead
