BE in Salem, OR!
I just got back from a pastor’s conference in Salem OR. What a great time of encouragement! The keynote speaker was Pete Mothershead. He spoke on the need for balanced evangelism. It was very refreshing. He has a very nice syllabus online at www.balancedevangelism.org it has some valuable information in it.

DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING CLASSES—THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH – 10:30 A.M.
We will begin our new discipleship program on Saturday, February 3rd, at 10:30 A.M. Our first topics will center around the Balanced Evangelism materials that were presented by Pastor Pete Mothershead back in November. This program will enable you to fulfill your commitments to easily share the Gospel with others.
From The First Baptist Church in the City of New York
It was a “wintry” winter conference, snow and cold, yet it was a wonderful winter conference at Hillside Baptist Church in Hornell. Two hundred and thirty-two attended representing fifty-four churches. The host church went the extra mile by providing two great meals in their family center. Pete Mothershead from California (he had to adjust to the cold and the time change) gave a helpful seminar on “Balanced Evangelism.” We were taught how to effectively witness for Christ.

Equip Your Church to Evangelize
Pete Mothershead, veteran Regular Baptist pastor, is now engaged in helping churches evangelize through his Balanced Evangelism seminars. Pete has spent 40 years developing this material and training individuals in Balanced Evangelism. His basic seminar begins with the topics of how to become a natural effective witness and how to conquer fear in witnessing. His advanced seminar focuses on the theology of evangelism, how to become a fruitful witness, and how to implement Balanced Evangelism in churches to disciple individuals to become witnesses for Christ. His final seminar focuses on equipping lay leaders in the church who can teach evangelism as well as develop evangelistic ministries within the church.
